Mildred Louise Stewart, 75 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, September 23, 1942 in Miami, Arizona , she was the daughter of the late Cecil Volner and the late Maudie Wade Volner.

Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Stewart of Camden, Tennessee and Gary Stewart of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Terri Colinger and Mary Kay McManis both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four brothers, Jimmy Volner, Virgil Volner and Jerry Volner all of Newbern, Tennessee and Johnny Volner of California; five sisters, Gladys Ruhl of Florida, Brenda Hartley of Troy, Tennessee, Virginia Tennyson and Deloris Foster both of Dyersburg, TN and Donna Mallard of Newbern, Tennessee; grandson, Cecil Harvery of Dickson, Tennessee and eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie L. Harvey; one brother, Cecil Dewayne Volner and two sisters, Catherine Turnbo and Margaret Dunaway.
