Funeral services will be held at Memory Chapel on Thursday, March 8th. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and the service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Mill Creek Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Holder will officiate.
Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Congregational Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Crosby Walters and Evelyn Holifield Walters; husband, William Earl Rogers; sisters, Ruby Oliver and Beverly Fartherling, brothers, Curtis Walters, Hilmer Walters, and Thurman Ray Walters; nephew, Ronnie “Happy” Fartherling; and niece, Cindy Hulsted.
Survivors include her nephew, Ricky Walters (Rita) of the Mill Creek community; nieces, Carolyn Ingram (Rudy) of the Mill Creek community; Rachel Starcher (John) of Alabama, Anna Nora Manning of Quitman, and Treva Ann Myrick (Ronald) of Alabama; brother, Billy Joe Walters (Georgia) of the Mill Creek community; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
