Charles Clayton Anderson, aged 46 years, died at 4 :15 o'clock Friday afternoon at the family home, 54 Oak Grove street, after an 18 months' illness. The deceased was born at President on January 10, 1884, a son of Woods and Ella Sager Anderson. He was a member of Bethel M E. church, the Men's Bible class, and Oil City Lodge No. 589, 1. O. O. F., and Oil City Encampment. From 1907 to 1920 he was employed as a mail carrier, and for the past six years had been employed as a clerk by the National Transit Pump & Machine Co. He was married to Miss Edna Gates in July 1912, who survives him together with on son, Harold, and his mother, Mrs. Ella Anderson. Funeral services will be held at the family residence at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, with Rev. C. C. Mohney, pastor of Bethel M. E. church officiating, assisted by Rev. S. V. Oarmany, pastor of the Evangelical church. Burial will be made In Grove Hill cemetery.

I. O. O. F. TAKES PART IN CRS. ANDERSON'S FUNERAL Funeral services in memory of Charles Anderson were conducted from the family home, 54 Grove Avenue, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. Mohney officiating, assisted by Rev. Carmany, who read several selections during the services. Interment was in Grove Hill cemetery, in charge of I. O. O. F. lodge No. 5S9. of which the deceased was a member.
