Robert Perry Bean, age 65, of Knoxville passed away September 22, 2017. A life-long resident of Knoxville, Bob retired from Tom's Foods and CVS. Bob was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church and loved his church family. He was a thirty year member of Masters Lodge #244 F&AM in Fountain City. Preceded in death by his parents, Fred Wallace Bean and Doris Ivey Bean; sister, Frances Garrett; and brother-in-law, Ray Houser. Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon Cheek Bean; son, Jason Bean and fiance LaTosha Blattner; sister, Freda Bean Houser; sister-in-law, Patti Cheek; nephews, Dwayne Light and Wally Houser; nieces, Karen Houser, Lisa McNabb and Robin Light; several great-nieces and great-nephews who were very special to him, and so many special and supportive friends during his long journey.

Receiving of friends will be Tuesday, September 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a celebration of life to follow with Pastor Eddie Perry officiating. Pastor Jerry Vittatoe will officiate at the burial Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM at Lynnhurst Cemetery.

Flowers are accepted and appreciated along with donations to the Clear Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 7350 Tazwell Pike, Corryton, TN 37721.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gharavi and the entire staff of Tennessee Cancer Specialist for their care and support.

His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servent; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Matthew 25:21
