Edmond - REBA HALL BARNES, 97, of Edmond, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, in Edmond Medical Center in Edmond.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with Bert Crane Jr. officiating. Interment will be under direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan.
She was born July 8, 1909, in Hastings, to William R. and Ella Johnston Hall. She married Donald L. Malone, and later married Howard J. Barnes. She was preceded in death by both.
In the 1940s, she worked at Sunray Oil Company as a control room operator and lab technician. She also worked for the Department of Human Services, and owned and operated a grocery store with her husband until her retirement.
She was a member of Church of Christ in Cushing, and then in Guthrie. She was active in her church and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and John Ritter of Guthrie; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Patsy Malone of Wichita Falls, Texas; a stepdaughter, Helen George of Cushing; a sister, Lois Whitt Fulkerson of Duncan; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
