Born Pauline Agenta Creightney in the St Mary parish of Jamaica to Donald Creightney. As she grew up she attended the St Mary parish church singing in the choir. In April of 1957, Pauline and brother Lloyd Creightney boarded the ship Reina del Pacifico and landed in Liverpool, England. She worked as a dressmaker and eventually met Phillip Montefiore Alexander. Pauline and Phillip were married in June of 1962 in Paddington, London, England. From the marriage they bore for children; Adrian, Mandy, Phillipa, and Phillip Jr. They later divorced and Pauline continued raising the children alone. One of the things she was known for was her baking of sweets. Ms Pauline became ill and diagnosed with cancer then passed away December 3rd of 2016. She was preceded in death by her father Donald, siblings, and daughter Phillipa. She is survived by her sister Sonja, sons Adrian and Philip Jr, daughter Mandy, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Pauline through her son Adrian while tracing their genealogy. Before Pauline had passed away, I was able to send her the passenger list that both she and her brother Lloyd were on to which her remark was that she had not seen that since she immigrated and was in awe of what had been found. May her soul be at rest and healed from all the earthly pain.
