CLARK, Ann, of Clearwater passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St. Joseph's hospital in Tampa after a series of medical conditions had weakened her physically but never affected her love of life. She was born in South Boston and moved to Florida with her family in 1972. Ann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For many years Ann was a ceramics instructor and taught at numerous community centers in the area. Quick with a smile, she made friends with everyone she met and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was very active in her church, running the gift store at St. Catherine of Siena until 2011 and in the last few years as a member of the women's guild at St Timothy's. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Clark Sr., her children Charles Jr., John, Maura, Peter and Raymond as well as 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8th from 2-4 pm, and again from 7-9pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 716 Seminole Blvd Largo. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, Jan 9th at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Largo. In lieu of flowers, Ann requested that donations be made to the Kimberly Home or the St. Catherine of Siena Building Fund.
