Ardyth Mary Denton

DENTON, Ardyth Mary – Age 68, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away Thursday, January 22, 1998 at her home. She was born September 19, 1929 in Alturas, California to Fred and Agnus (Miller) Andrus. Ardyth was united in marriage to Jack Denton on March 24, 1951 in Roseburg, Oregon. Mrs. Denton had lived in the Roseburg area for 55 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who cherished every moment spent with her family. Ardyth was a confirmed Episcopalian of the St. George's Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Jack Denton, two daughters, Judy C. Denton and Brenda M. McLean and her husband Michael, both of Roseburg, two sons, David L. Denton of Roseburg and Thomas W. Denton and his wife Kathi of Eugene, Oregon, and three grandchildren. Ardyth was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Bradley C. Denton. At her request no services will be held. Private interment will be in Civil Bend Cemetery in Winston, Oregon. Donations may be made to Community Cancer Foundation PO Box 2038, Roseburg, OR 97470.
