Eugene "Brewster" Willis, Jr., age 66, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Saint Joseph Hospital, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on September 7, 1951, to Jeannie Custard Willis and the late Eugene Edward Willis, Sr.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry N. Willis. Besides his mother, he is survived by: four children, Elaine (William) Justice, of Lexington, Rhonda (Chantez) Shaver, of Louisville, Anthony Willis, of Lexington, and Stephanie (Robert) Willis, of Lexington; four sisters, Diane Woods, Joyce Willis, Kathy Willis and Linda Hinton; an uncle, Billy Willis; an aunt, Elgetha Downey; two special friends, June E. Willis and Don Young; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Macedonia Baptist Church by Rev. Anthony Stevenson and Rev. James Wayne Custard, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Active pallbearers will be Quentin Shaver, Justin Buchanan, Mikel Willis, Jon Willis, Branden Woods, Chad Willis, Andrew Hinton, Will Hinton, Joseph Hinton, Isaiah Hinton, Nathan Sipe and Nicholas Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Million, Phil Watson, Gary Sipe, Mark Hawkins, Michael Custard, Dennis Custard, Billy Custard and Brian Williams.
