Funeral services for Terry Dyke Sheppard, 40, of 2616 South Ewing, a native Texas and resident of Dallas for 12 years, will be held at the Hillcrest Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery.

Sheppard died at his home Saturday after an illness of several months. A native of Kaufman, where he was born on July 1, 1903, he came to Dallas in 1932, at which time he became associated with the Sheppard Grocery and Market, a firm owned by his father.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Sheppard; mother, Mrs. A. J. Graff; father, J. O. Sheppard, all of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. H. F. (Thelma) Elsey, Wellston, Okla.; two brothers, Tillman Sheppard, Dallas, and Taylor Sheppard, with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.
