Carrie Winston Gray O'Neal, 101, of Avon, died Tuesday, March 6 in Barco. Born in Avon, she was the daughter of the late George and Montra Meekins Gray and was the widow of Talmage Ray O'Neal. She was a homemaker and a member of the Avon Worship Center. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Talmage Ray O'Neal, Jr.; two grandchildren, Stacey O'Neal and Vivian Bruner; two sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by a son, Earl W. O'Neal of Avon; seven grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 9 at the Avon Worship Center by Pastor Bryan Gray and burial was in the Gray Family Cemetery.
