Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Richard A."Pat" Patterson, age 76, of Roswell, who passed away March 10, 2007, at his residence. Rev. Dare Stevens of First United Methodist Church will officiate, interment to follow at South Park Cemetery. Pat was born September 30, 1930 in Ponca City, OK, to Eldridge and Helen Patterson. He is preceded in death by both parents. Pat married Doodye Wilkey on February 18, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. She preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Stephen Patterson and his wife Cheryl of Roswell; a daughter, Cindy Torrez and her husband Marty of Roswell; a brother, Daniel E. Patterson of Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Priscilla Fullerton and her husband Andy, Sara Torrez, Wayne Gluff, and Curtis Gluff. Pat served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. after 35 years of service and moved to Roswell, NM to be with his family. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Wayne Gluff, Larry Demaree, Robert Smyzenski, Larry Torrez, Terry Edwards, Andy Fullerton.
