Mary Ellen Stinson, age 68, a resident of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. She was born July 14, 1948 in Parsons, Kansas daughter of the late Charles Thiebaud and Margaret Brooker Thiebaud. Mary worked as a claims processor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arkansas and New Mexico and for the Small Business Bureau in Connecticut.
She married Robert Stinson on April 10, 1971 in Parsons, Kansas, he survives of the home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jill McKnight and her husband, Carl, of Johnson City, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Bishop and Claudia McKnight; a brother, Alan Thiebaud and his wife, Marianna, of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Gerre Koger and her husband, Ron, of Atlanta, Georgia.
