Linda Odle Clements, age 69, of Millwood, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 21, 2017) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. She was born on August 18, 1948 in Millwood, KY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Goldie Gaither Odle. She retired as a supervisor for the Cabinet for Families and Children and enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning and entering crafts into the Grayson County Fair. She attended the Clearview Baptist Church and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and a board member of the Lincoln Trail Aging Council and the Lincoln Trail Area Development District. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Batchelder (John) of Millwood; a sister-in-law, Lavon Odle of Millwood; a niece, Malinda Sallee; four nephews, Tommy, Clifford and Gene Odle and Turoc Batchelder; and a special aunt, Irene Albro, of Shrewsbury. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Clements and her brother, Harold Odle. Celebration of Life services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, (September 24, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. Sunday until time of services.
