Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of Albert E. Allen, Sr. and the late Virginia Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Owens of Gray Court; three sons, Duane Allen of Gray Court, Key (Charlotte) Allen and Joshua (Shamika) Owens of Simpsonville, her father Albert E. Allen, Sr. of Laurens; three brothers, Albert E. Allen, Jr. of Laurens, Daryl Allen of Woodruff and Jesse Nance of Spartanburg; three sisters, Kayla Burnside of Fountain Inn, Kiley (Gregory) Burnside of Laurens and Toniette Davis of Fayetteville, NC; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Center Rabun Baptist Church, with Rev. Albert Blandin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
