He was born on April 22, 1930 to Lewis and Willie Baldwin in Anna, TX. Billy married Nelda Gilbert.
He was a Certified Public Accountant. Billy was a member of the Pecan Heights Baptist Church in Dallas, TX where he served as head deacon and music director, and Tabernacle Baptist in Ennis, TX where he served as the head deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Willie Baldwin; daughter, Kathleen Baldwin; brother, Wayne Baldwin; and beloved Collie Flash.
Billy is survived by his wife, Nelda Laverne Gilbert Baldwin; Daughter, Marcia Kay Baldwin of Garland, TX; son Howard Kent Baldwin of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, Stephanie Baldwin, Brooks Baldwin and wife Elizabeth, Brett Baldwin, and Sterling Baldwin.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 22 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 23 at 11 AM in Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
