Mr. Lee M. Bell, 39, of Lancaster, SC and formerly of Leesburg, GA, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the chapel of Joseph W. Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Robin Chaplin will officiate with interment will follow in the Leesburg Cemetery.
Born October 26, 1977 in Albany, Mr. Bell graduated from Lee County High School in 1996 and completed his college training to work as an electrician. He loved deer hunting and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Meriwether Bell and mother-in-law, Patty Sue Childree.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Childree Bell and his son, Gavin Bell both of Lancaster, SC; his mother, Debra Speir Bell of Albany; father-in-law, Hiram Childree of Smithville; sister-in-law, Renee Childree of Leesburg; nephew, Cody King of Leesburg and several close cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
