Frank Finney, 43, of Miami, was fatally injured when struck by automobile near the Banks Confectionery and news stand on the Miami highway on Wednesday night. He died later at the Miami Inspiration hospital. E.C. Morrell, of Lower Miami, was driving the car that struck Finney, according to reports.
The deceased is a brother of Mrs. E.E. Banks and C.B. Finney, of Miami, He had been a resident of the district a number of years.
The exact nature of the accident could not be determined, but it is generally believed Mr. Finney stepped in front of the car. Definite facts are expected to be brought out at the inquest to be held by Justice of the Peace McKenzie this morning at 10 o'clock.
The body is at the Miles Funeral Home, pending arrangements.
