Dennis Rose Jr. passed away on October 19, 2014. Born January 24, 1948 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Dennis and Cookie (Mathews) Rose. He was also the step-son of Oral Lee Rose.

Dennis was educated in the Niagara Falls Public School System, a graduate of the former LaSalle Sr. High School. He continued his academic pursuits receiving his degrees from NCCC and Brockport State university. Dennis was employed at Rochester Gas and Electric Company for 25 years, retiring in 1995 due to disability..
Dennis had a love for sport. All of his siblings knew not to disturb him when football, basketball, tennis and golf were on television..
Dennis leaves to cherish his memory to his wife, Lessie Hamilton-Rose, step-mother, Oral Lee Rose, two sisters, Earlean (Laverne) Bones, Ann Marie Holloman; three brothers, Robert E. Rose, Timothy Rose, James (Kim) Rose, all of Niagara Falls, NY; two aunts, Elsie Ewing and Cealie Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Cookie and Dennis Rose Sr. he was preceded in death by one sister, Gearlean Rose Carpenter..
