Bernice Fay Marshall, 97, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, widow of Jody Marshall, passed away to be with her Lord, on Monday September 18, 2017 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 am Friday at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Burial will follow. She was born February 5, 1920, in Emma, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kelly and Alice Mosley Kendrick. Bernice had a career of over 35 years in sales at both The Bazaar Store and The Huntington Store. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter Billie Plymale; brothers Billy, Russell and Gene Kendrick and sisters Margaret Jean Porter and Martha Jane Porter. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law Joann and Tommy Grubb of Arkansas and Faye Jordan of Huntington; grandchildren Timothy Dale Grubb of Florida, Jason Grubb of Arkansas; Dee McComas and Terry J. Plymale both Kenova, WV; Kip Jordan of Georgia and Heather Jordan of Huntington; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sister and brother in law Hersie Mae and Douglas Cole of Ashland, KY and several nieces and nephews. Bernice was dearly loved her family and she will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives. The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland of Riverview and Drs. David and Drew Apgar for their loving care of Bernice. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery.
