JOHN MELVIN MCCLANAHAN, age 84, of Springfield, OH, passed away on September 16, 2017 in his residence. He was born in Springfield, OH, on November 14, 1932, son of John and Mabel (Webb) McClanahan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph, Robert and Russel; and sisters, Ruth Skiles, Dorothy Barcus, Dolores Maynard and Marcella Sayers. John had retired after 30 years of service with The Brain Lumber Company in 1997.
