Winton Martin 77 of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on 11-16-2021. He was preceded in death by parents, J. L. & Betty Westbrooks Martin and brother, Larry Martin.
Survived by wife of 54 years, Carol Brogdon Martin of Flowery Branch; sisters, Joyce (Curtis) Westbrooks, Janice (Ricky) Gilliland, Crystal Queen all of Buford; brothers, Stanley (Sarah) Martin and Joe (Shan) Martin all of Buford; sister-in-law, Patsy Martin of Buford; in-laws, Mack and Sheila Brogdon of Dacula; beloved pet, Mollee Mawee; and several nieces and nephews.
Born on 1-26-1944 in Buford, he was a 1962 graduate of Buford High School where he played football. Mr. Martin was a retired carpenter from Donald Beard Construction Co. He was a member and oldest deacon of Old Suwanee Baptist
Church, serving 50+ years on the Deacon Board. .........
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA with Pastor Doyle Jackson officiating.
