Donald Lee Crawford, 80, Grain Valley, MO passed away Sept. 18, 2017. Services will be 2 pm, Sunday, Sept. 24 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; Private interment at Forest Hill Cemetery. Don was born July 4, 1937 in California, MO., To Dorsey Edwin and Grace Cornelia Brizendine Crawford. When Don graduated from high school, he joined the U. S. Air Force. He worked at Southwestern Bell and later Lucent Technologies for over twenty-five years and retired from there. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was a wood worker who made wooden pens for many people. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine. He was very proud of his family.
