She became a Muncie resident in 1937 and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1947. In addition to being a homemaker, she was an Avon representative for 32 years.
Wanda was a member of Industry United Methodist Church for over 70 years, serving in various capacities. She enjoyed many great friendships and spending time with family, especially at Tippecanoe Lake. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening and was active in both senior bowling leagues, and women's golf leagues.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepfather, Jule Hubbard; sister, Beulah (Pat) Welsh; and three step-brothers, Allen, James and Joe Hubbard.
Services will be 12 p.m. on Thursday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, with Pastor Mark Elcessor officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday at the mortuary.
