Richard “Dick” Greenwood, 78, of Wilton, MN died September 19, 2017 at Neilson Place in Bemidji.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Wilton, MN.

Dick was born January 5, 1939 to Harold “Buck” & Mildred Mrazek Greenwood. He grew up and was raised in Wilton. Dick attended Bemidji High School. He joined the Navy in 1957, serving his country for 4 years. On July 1, 1961, he married Sharon Hegg in Colorado. They lived there for a short time before moving to back Wilton where they made their home for 49 years. Sharon died in 2011. Dick worked for Wright’s Service Station as a mechanic and then for Chester Berg Motors as parts service manager until his retirement.

He is survived by son, David; grandsons, Steven, Joseph and Dylan; brothers, Charles (Betty Rose) and Joe (Fran); sister, Sharon (Gilbert) Ostman; 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
