Patricia L. Monroe, 84, of Roanoke, Va., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, morning, September 19, 2017. She was retired from the Virginia School System with 20 years of service.
Surviving are her three sons, Kenneth E. Monroe Jr. of Yorktown, Va., Michael L. Monroe of Roanoke, Va., and Marc E. Monroe of Geneva, Ill.; two grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from Oakey’s South Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Gadman officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Oakey’s South Chapel.
