Hayden Ray Dean Scott, was born on April 21st, 2004 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Justin and Dacia (Hammer) Scott. He had four brothers, Johnny, Edwin, Emmit, and Dayton. He attended school at Tenkiller School. Hayden never was one to waste a moment of life. From the time he got up in the morning until the time he went to bed, Hayden was busy. He loved being out doors, playing football, and fixing up his and his brother's bikes with new reams and accessories. He really enjoyed a day fishing or swimming at the river, and challenging his brothers to a game of basketball. Hayden loved school, especially the dances. He was everyone's friend and loved people. He could sit and talk by the hour. His favorite place to go out was Chilango's and he was always ready to go spend time with his friends or going to the movies. He had a smile that could melt your heart and eyes that looked into your soul. He was witty and charming, and always made people smile. He loved any chance to got to spend with his grandparents, especially around the holidays. Hayden had experienced much in his short time on earth; the passing of his father, Justin in 2007 and brother, Dayton in 2011 was probably the hardest. Hayden always tried to make the best of every day, and brighten the day for those around him. He was selfless in spirit. Hayden became ill and fought a battle against cancer with the same grit and determination he showed in all of his activities. He was of Baptist faith and a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church. The Lord took this courageous young man home to his eternal rest on Sunday, September 17th, 2017 in Oklahoma City with his family close by his side. Hayden was 13 years old. We will hold you in our hearts until we hold you in our arms, and know you will be missed every day.

Hayden is preceded in death by his dad, Justin, his brother, Dayton Dunn and his grandfathers, Larry Hammer and Richard Mark Dunn.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Dacia Hammer Scott and stepdad, Edwin Dunn of the home in Welling, and his brothers, Johnny Dunn, Edwin Dunn, Emmit Dunn and Dayton Dunn and step brother, Warren Dunn also of the Welling community. His grandparents include Gloria Hammer and Joseph Goodrich of Stilwell, OK, Robbin Cartwright of Welling, OK, Dora Dunn of Tahlequah, OK and Eliza Holcomb of Tahlequah, OK and special great grandparents, Warren and wife Lennora Goodrich of Proctor, OK. Hayden leaves many aunts, uncles, classmates and friends and dreams and wishes, we will keep them close for him. Until we meet again, we love you Hayden.
