Kenai resident Chris Robert Brown, 68, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017 at South Peninsula Hospital in Homer.
A celebration of his life will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 at the Kenai Public Beach Access.

His ashes will be scattered among the beach.

Chris was born July 8, 1949 in Oakland, California.
He has lived on the Kenai Peninsula for 40 years.
He is survived by his brother, Boyd Brown; son, Greg Brown; grandson, Jeremy; and daughters Becky and Sarah.
He was a kind and talented man.
He played the harmonica and also wrote poetry.
He was loved and we will miss him.
May the angels watch over him.
