Molly Aileen Taylor, 71 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at CMC-Main in Charlotte.
Molly was born May 3, 1946 in Monroe, North Carolina to Clarence Grover Alexander and Dolly Taylor Alexander.
She was also preceded in death by spouse, Walter Lee Taylor, three brothers, Pete, Gene, and Hubert Alexander, sister, Frances Aldridge.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Friday, September 22, 2017 at Cottonville Baptist Church, 4888 Plank Road, Aquadale. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the church officiated by Pastor Alex Willoughby . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Barbara (Chris) Mills of Albemarle, NC, brother, Joe Alexander of Marshville, NC, brother, Henry Alexander of Wadesboro, NC, grandson, Clay (Lucy) Mills of Norwood, Great Grandson, Colton Mills, Great Grandson, Zane Mills.
Molly was a homemaker and loved to garden, grow flowers and spend time with her family making sure they were loved and cared for. She was a member of Cottonville Baptist Church.
