Judy Kay Burns, 48, passed away on the 5th day of September 2017at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio after a lengthy illness surrounded by family.

She was born on June 18th, in Parma, Ohio to Harold “Jack” Burns of Brunswick, Ohio and Carolyn (Walter, deceased) Demming of Cleveland, Ohio.
Judy grew up in Brunswick, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School.

Prior to her illness she became a STNA working with in various nursing homes caring for the sick and elderly.

She was a woman of faith, attending bible classes at Grace Church in Middleburg Heights. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and Yorkie Stuart.

Judy is survived by her father Jack (Bev Gedney) and mother Carolyn; daughters Felicia (John Gambrel) and Monique (Nate Landers); her sisters Johanna Brooks-Kroggel (David) and Jacqueline Korpi; her nephew Ryan Brooks; her grandchildren Olivia (9), Kamden (6) Aiden (4) and Harper (2); her faithful and loyal companion, Stuart Little and other relatives.

Judy touched the lives of many people with her smile and outgoing personality. Through her battle with her illness she all gave us hope through the strength and resolve she displayed. Her favorite thing she would say to all of us is “Be with the Angels” meaning be safe until we would see each other again. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 12-2 PM and 4-6 PM at the Chapel Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, where funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11th at 2:00 PM.

Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
