he was a resident of Mt. Hermon and he passed away at riverside medical center. he was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Hermon high school that enjoyed watching baseball and women’s basketball. he worked for the Louisiana department of transportation and development and later retired as a correctional officer at Washington correctional institute after many years of service. he was member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and also a member of the Mt. Hermon hunting club, where he enjoyed hunting and running beagles and deer hounds each year. he played the piano and guitar and also loved to sing and listen to country music. he was formerly the lead singer of Louisiana express and played and sang in other bands through the years. he loved riding and tending to his horses and also enjoyed watching old western movies with his favorite being Gene Autry. he had a special place in his heart for his pet dog Briscoe Darlin.
