Marguerite “Margee” Eva Belson (Lefty) of Bengal died Friday, September 15, 2017 at the McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester at the age of 70 surrounded by loved ones whose lives she impacted tremendously throughout her full and memorable life. Margee was born October 25, 1946 in Bellflower, California to Harry and Margaret (Youde) Nadine. She grew up in Signal Hill, CA, attended Western High School, and was married to David Belson. She was a bus driver for RTD until she moved to Oklahoma, where she then began bartending, a job she truly loved. Margee will always be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was all around “the life of the party” and truly one of a kind. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Belson; parents, Harry and Margaret Nadine; son, Scott Belson and granddaughter, Jolene Long. A celebration of her life will be held at Peachland Cemetery on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11 am.
