Floresville, Tx. formerly of Pontotoc- Janice Winter passed away peacefully at her home Thursday September 25, 2014. She graduated from Algoma High School in 1968, and married her high school sweetheart in November the same year.
She moved to Texas in 1983, and spent her time caring for her children, who were the light of her life. She loved and enjoyed shopping at flea markets and yard sales with her 3 sisters. She was a beautiful woman who devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, sisters and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be 11am Thursday October 2, 2014 at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Ray Ware and Bro. Kevin Wallace will be officiating. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include: Her husband- Johnny Winter; a daughter- Alisha Albright (Bryan); a son- Chad Winter (Jeannie); grandchildren- Johnny and Jordan Albright, Kyle and Kinley Winter; sisters- Betty Holloway, Brenda Foster (Ted) and Bonnie Gassaway (Richard).
Preceded in death by: a son- Johnny Wayne Winter Jr.; parents- Bernard and Merle Russell.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday and 10-11am Thursday.
