Mrs. Prall was born on September 22, 1923 in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Melinda (Rineer) Ziegler.
Helen was a 1941 graduate of York Catholic High School. She retired from Dentsply International as a payroll clerk. Prior to that, she worked at several sewing factories in the area as a seamstress and payroll clerk.
She is survived by her two sons, Maynard G. Prall, Jr. and his wife Vicki of York and Dwight D. Prall and his companion Sherry Cutler of Jacobus; two grandchildren, Jennifer Wood and her husband Randy and Dayne Prall and his wife Kelsey. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Malory and Savannah; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
A private burial was held by the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. A funeral service to honor Helen's life will be held at Bridgeway Community Church, 255 Reynolds Mill Rd., York, PA 17403 on Monday, September 25, with Pastor Dave McKinsey officiating. The service will begin at 11 AM.
