Brother of area resident dies PARIS-Ben V. St. Clair Sr., 71, of Paris died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (January 23, 1980) at the Paris Community Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm. Saturday in Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, Paris. Burial will be in Embarras Cemetery, Redmon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. St. Clair was born in Brocton, a son of James T. and Lora St. Clair. He married Ruth E. Bower in 1929. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Ben Jr. of Paris; one daughter, Bobbie Anderson of Villa Grove; three brothers, Bruce of Charleston, James of Crencro, La., and Charles of Brocton; one sister, Ettoil Coon of Oakland; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one grandchild. Mr. St. Clair was a member of the Brocton United Methodist Church.
