Eva Wilbur, 100, of LeRaysville, PA passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing, Towanda, PA. Born February 19, 1917 in Neath, PA to the late Earl and Frances [Goodwin] Baldwin.
A 1935 graduate of Rush High School and was employed as a clerk for many years at the Red & White and Village Markets. She served as the Tax Collector for Pike Township for forty years.
Eva enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and weed whacking.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Arlyn & Arlene Wilbur of LeRaysville, PA, daughter, Shirley Rockefeller of Rome, PA, grandson Randy and Sharon Rockefeller, granddaughter, Robin and William Huizinga, grandson, Jeffrey Wilbur, sisters, Ethel Mae Ruhf of Lawton, PA, Jean and Gary Downer of Fairdale, PA, 7 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton A. Wilbur, a daughter, Edna L. Marshall, a son-in-law, Richard Rockefeller, a granddaughter, Penny Rafferty, sisters, Kathryn Douglas and Pauline McGovern, and brothers, James Baldwin, Paul Baldwin, and Horace Baldwin.
Services: Services will be held at the Rushville Community Church in Rushville, PA on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Sharon Rockefeller officiating.
Visitation: Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bartron Myer Funeral Home Montrose PA.
