Harry William Watson, 80, 242 Ringgold St., Waynesboro, died Friday morning at 11:30 in the Waynesboro Hospital. He had been in ill health for six weeks.
A native of Adams County, he was a son of the late William and Savilla Jane Byers Watson, and had been employed for a number of years at the Landis Machine Shop, Waynesboro, as a machinist. He had in later years been a custodian at the Waynesboro Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. E G Wills, Greenstone; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. E L McCleaf, Fairfield R1.
HE was a member of the Eagles and the Owls of Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield, with the Rev. Herbert P Kauhl officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
