Lula Belle (White) Bailey, age 84, of San Augustine, passed from this life in the early morning hours of Monday, September 18, 2017, in San Augustine.
Funeral Services will held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas 75972. Officaiting will be Robert Easterling. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, September 20, 2017, from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wyman Roberts. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Shelby County, Texas.
Lula Belle was born to Alma (Holt) White and Frank White on October 19, 1932, in San Augustine County, Texas. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 32 years. In her retirement years, she enjoyed serving and being an active member of the ladies auxiliary of San Augustine Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and member of the Baptist Church.
Those who she is survived by include, her sons, Robert "Bob" Marshall and his wife, Kat of Cleveland, and Stanley Bailey and his wife, Kayla of Nacogdoches; her beloved grandchildren, Bryce and Bret Bailey of Nacogdoches, and Christin Marshall of Crosby; Sister, Laverne Barfield of LaRose, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Livingston Bailey; her beloved parents, Alma and Frank White; Sister, Marie Thornton and Brothers, T.H. White and James Albert White.
