Linda Horn 69, of Hurricane went home to be with the Lord September 16, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She joined her son, Johnny Ray Toppings at Heavens Golden Gates; her parents, Ersel and Bonnie Fitch; her in laws, Clifford and Mae Horn; and a very special brother in law, Clifford Horn.

Anyone who knew Linda knew that her family was the most important thing in her life. Linda has made her home in Hurricane for many years with her husband, Roger Horn of Hurricane; her daughter, Tammy Reavis (Joe) of Culloden; son, Roger Allen Horn of Hurricane; step-daughter, Melissa Horn (Ray) of Inez KY; step- son, Randy Horn (Melinda) of Inez KY; grandchildren, Josh and Brittany Reynolds of Hurricane, Jonathan and Morgan Horn of Culloden, Linzie Reynolds, Hunter, Kajsa, and Hailey Horn all of Hurricane; great-grandchildren, Emersyn Horn of Culloden, and Colten and Cooper Reynolds of Hurricane; step-grandchildren, Brittaney, Tiffany and Tori Reavis, Josh and Jamie TR, Stephine, Dana, B.B. Denovan and Briana Horn, all of Inez KY; step great-grandchildren, Devon, Nate, Bub, Alisha, and Page all of Inez KY; sisters, Delina Holstein of Hurricane and Theresa Forcebach (Arthur) of Saint Albans; brother, Donald Fitch (Nancy) of Hurricane; sister Linda Caudill (Roger) of Cleveland OH; sisters-in-law, Connie Horn ,Maggie Blackburn (Troy), Josie Pennix (Glen), aunt, Dottie Nace of Dunbar; several special nieces and nephews and lots of special cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Glen Penix officiating. Burial will follow service at Valley View Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

We would like to thank all the doctors and staff at the Edwards Cancer Center, with a special thanks to Dr. Mitchell for all of your help.

Linda touched the lives and hearts of many children she cared for through the years of working for the State of WV. She also LOVED cheering for the REDSKINS!!!! She loved watching her grandkids play football, softball, basketball and cheering.
