David was a member of the Antioch Regular Baptist Church on Welch-Pineville Road, Welch, WV and Heritage Baptist Church on Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA. He was a meat cutter for 38 years at Deskins Supermarket, Food Lion, and Sam's Club. He liked hunting, ginsenging, or any chance to walk in the mountains.
David was preceded in death by grandparents Lawrence Robinette (1912-1990) and Mary Robinette (1906-Deceased), and Russell Dye (Deceased) and Thelma Dye (Deceased).
David is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Patricia Dye-Robinette; loving daughters Tara Robinette-Mills & Jonathan Mills, of Richmond, VA and Ryan Robinette-Jennings & Willard Donovan IV, of Lynchburg, VA; grandchildren, Jeremiah Mills and Abigail Mills, Sean Jennings, and Dylan Donovan; treasured parents, Arnold Robinette and Lola Robinette, of Roderfield, WV; caring sister Carolyn Robinette-Green & Terry Green, of Pineville, WV.
He is also survived by his respected mother-and-father-in-law, Edward Cline and June Cline, of Welch, WV; admired sister-in-law Sherry Cline-Belcher, of Roanoke, VA; adored nephews Rusty Belcher & Amy Belcher, Andy Green & Shay Green, J.D. Belcher & Jina Belcher, and Travis Green; and great nieces and nephews Brody Belcher, Chloe Belcher, Norah Belcher, Emily Green and Elijah Green.
Funeral service will be held at Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church, Airport Rd, Welch, WV on September 23, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with visitation at 11:30 am. Burial rites will be held immediately after at Elkhorn Church cemetery. Dinner will follow for those who wish to fellowship with the family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA on October 14, 2017.
