Marion Agnes Bryant, 97, a lifelong resident of Rockford, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. She was born on July 17, 1920, in Rockford, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Miller) Hacker.

Marion married Bert E. Bryant, the son of John and Myrtle (Hasty) Bryant, on January 19, 1943. He predeceased her on November 14, 2012.

Marion loved being a homemaker and was talented at decorating, sewing, china painting, and making braided rugs for her home. She also loved flower gardening and attracting birds to her bird feeders, especially cardinals.
