Mr. A.S. Douglas announces the marriage of his daughter, Kathleen, to Dr. Henry Grady Estes, the wedding taking place yesterday at noon at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Andrew Anderson, on Moreland Avenue.
The ceremony was witnessed by the immediate relatives and a few intimate friends.
Miss Lebri Ewing was maid of honor, and Mr. Barney Estes was best man, and Dr. John Jenkins officiated. The bride was lovely in a gown of blue charmeuse satin, with white hat, and she carried a bouquet of bride roses. An informal reception followed the ceremony.
Mr. Estes and his bride left for New York, where Dr. Estes, who is a recent graduate of the Atlanta College of Physicians and Surgeons, will be associated with one of the leading hospitals.

Mrs. Kathleen Douglas Estes, widow of Dr. Henry Grady Estes died April 29, 1986. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Walter Cargill and Mrs. Stanley Abrams, Atlanta; sister, Mrs. Hugh Wilson, Atlanta; grandchildren, Mrs. Kathleen Morrison, Tucker; Mr. George R. Vance, Jr., Columbia, S.C.; Rev. Grady E. Vance, Monroe, Ga; Mr. Walter Hurt Cargill III, East Cobb; Mr. Douglas Leon Vance, Gainesville, Ga; 11 great-grandchildren; beloved family friend, Mrs. Janie Collier, Atlanta.
Interment services will be held Friday, May 2 at 11 o'clock at Arlington Cemetery, Rev. James A. Budd officiating.
As honorary escort, Mr. Walter Hurt Cargill, Rev. Grady Vance, Mr. George Vance, Mr. Douglas Vance, Mr. Gordon M. Morrison, Jr., Mr. Gordon M. Morrison III.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 until 8:30 Thursday evening at Spring Hill.
