Dan Forrest was a genuine man. He would help anyone out that he could. He worked for the US POST OFFICE and had a part time job as a watch fixer in the mall which was just a hobby of his but he got paid for it. He was my very first friend when I moved here in 2003...he reached out to me and asked if I'd like to hang out and he'd show me around. So he did.
He had a great family including his mother JUDY FORREST & father DEAN FORREST, and he also had a young son, which hurts even more. He loved his dad and wanted to be just like him. One day DEAN II will realize just how genuine his father was. My last football game I attended was with Dan @ MetLife Stadium...his Jets vs my Pats. Many of you know the Delaware story, so I won't repeat it. Let's make it short for people who don't know though. Dan drank many beers, I had never been in that part of NJ so I had no clue how to get home. So I asked Dan, left or right, he mumbled something which sounded like left...turns out Dan & I visited the Delaware Water Gap on our way home!!! I love that story. I love Dan, and I miss him very much. God Bless him and God Bless his entire family. I'll see you on the other side Dan.
