Larry N. Craig was born on October 6, 1940 in Joplin, Missouri. He graduated from Hiawatha High School in Hiawatha, Kansas in 1958.
Larry married Lucile M. Blanton. He owned and operated the L & L Drive-Inn in Hiawatha, and was a member of the Hiawatha Christian Center. Lucile passed away in 1995.
In 1998 Larry moved to Forest City, Missouri. He lived with his companion of many years, LaVona Worley.
Larry passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Oregon Care Center at the age of 76.
In addition to his wife, Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Norman C. and Faith M. Craig; brother, Jack Bigley; and LaVona's son, Lanny Worley.
Survivors include LaVona Worley of the home; LaVona’s son, Craig Worley of Holt, Missouri; sisters, Barbara (Clyde) Coovert of Hurricane, Utah and Marline Gabbert of Kahoka, Iowa; sister-in-law, Stella Bigley of Independence, Kansas; and nieces and nephews.
Larry was an avid hunter, and enjoyed archery.
Family visitation: Friday, September 22, 2017, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Chamberlain Funeral Home, Oregon. Services: Saturday, September 23, 2017, 10:30 am, Chamberlain Funeral Home. Inurnment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha, Kansas.
