"Muench, Bishop A. J., Jr. passed away Friday, September 8, 1961 in his 76th year, residence, 2326 Crittenden Dr. Devoted husband of Mrs. Mary Gladys (Hobbs) Muench; father of Mr. Adoph J. Muench, Ill; step-father of Mr. T. J. Nelson, Chicago, Ill.; brother of Mrs. Wilhelmine Steier, Mrs. Josephine Coons, Sister Mary Columbia, R. S. M., Columbus, Ohio and Mr. B. A. Muench; also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bishop Muench is at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., where services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. and from the Christ Gospel Mission Church at 1:30. Interment, St. Stephen's Cemetery."
