BEN ALLEN GLAZE
Age 92, of Springfield, OH, passed away on December 16, 2016 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Springfield, OH, oh February 29, 2914, the son of Ralph and Gladys Glaze.
Ben graduated from Springfield South High School before serving his country in the U S Army Air Corp during World War II.
He was a 1950 graduate of The Ohio State University.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anthony Lodge #455 F&AM, and the American Saddle Horse Association.
Ben showed horses for over 50 years.
He retired from WPAFB, as a contract negotiator and later worked part time for Wheel Construction.
In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, playing golf, bowling and reading.
On September 8, 1951, he married the love of his live, Carol (Beall) and they spent 65 years together.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their daughter, Janet Sue (Reid) Ingham; grandchildren, Bretanne Ostberg and Nic (Hwa Sun) Ingham and several cousins.
