Son of the late Carl Converse Friedrichs and Therese Chalaron.
Former All Star football player and captain at Jesuit High School in 1935 and coach at Holy Cross High School from 1946-49.
A native of New Orleans and a resident of Sunnyside, Florida for the past 7 years.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated in New Orleans at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 1985 at St. Leo the Great church, 2916 Paris avenue. Relatives and friend are invited. In lieu of flowers memorials to the L.G. FRIEDRICHS SCHOLARSHIP FUND at St. Ambrose College, Davenport, Iowa 52803.
