SOUTH BEND - William L. “Bill” Mize, 65, of South Bend, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Hospice House, South Bend. Bill was born August 4, 1952 in South Bend, to the late William B. and Dorothy (Harris) Mize. On October 29, 2005, in South Bend, Bill married Tammie R. Gulbranson who survives. Also surviving is a brother, David (Toni) Mize, of Niles, four sisters-in- law, two brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Bill worked as an assistant supervisor for the St. Joseph County Highway Department, retiring in 2015. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed vacationing at Drummond Island, Michigan. Per Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place at Welsheimer Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated next spring.
