Anna Elizabeth "Lizzie" Walters was born 27 Aug 1856 in Solothurn Switzerland & came to the United States with her family when she was 12. On 2 Feb 1877 she married Thomas Broadhead in Davis County, now Geary County, Kansas. They had four children. Thomas died in 1910, in Blaine County Oklahoma where they farmed near Okeene. On 20 Feb 1913, Lizzie married J.D. Todd of Minneapolis Kansas. The ceremony took place in Alma Kansas. The couple intended to make their home in Hennessey Oklahoma, east of Okeene. In the 1920 Census, Lizzie is living in Cimarron, Blaine County, OK. She is a widow, living with her son Fletcher. In 1922 she & Fletcher attend the funeral of her stepmother in Alma. In 1927 she attends the 50th wedding anniversary celebration for her brother Albert in Milford Kansas. At age 73, Lizzie dies in Okeene, Blaine County, OK. Location of her burial is unknown.
