Ricky Gene Nelson Jr, 36, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on September 13, 2017. He was born to Tina (Tillett) and Ricky Nelson Sr, on April 5, 1981 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ricky was loving, caring, funny, persistent, and often hell bent on proving his mother wrong. He helped many people along his journey, and we will never forget his generosity.
Ricky is survived by his mother: Tina Nelson, his son: Ricky Gene Nelson III, daughter: Reese McKenzie Louise Nelson, siblings: Preston, Robert, Ryan and Bryan Wombles, and Brandon Nelson, grandma: Bev Muse, Uncle Greg Tillett, Aunt Debbie O'Toole, and Aunt Pam Robinson and his best friend, through thick and thin: Charlene Smith.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Nelson Sr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Spring Grove Funeral Home (4389 Spring Grove Cemetery, 45223) from 12:00 noon until the services begin at 2:00 pm. Ricky will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery.
